Narrative Inquiry & Narrative Theory
The culminating assignment for ENGL881 is a collection of the narratives that we have written for this class. This book will include a foreword from a peer, an introduction, and three chapters--each of which contain a story relevant to the writer.
A quick reflection on the course...
Telling a good story is an art. I have always wanted to learn more about how to develop my own storytelling skills, so when I saw that we had the opportunity to take this course with Dr. Pagnucci, an accomplished narrative inquirer, I was excited, to say the least. What I learned, though, was much more than just techniques for spinning a good tale and how this method of inquiry might fit into my later research. Most importantly, I learned that we all have stories and it is in sharing these stories that we truly contribute to co-constructing meaning and community.
